Dave CrockettAfter attending the University of Baltimore, Dave began to work in private industry accounting. In 1981 he started his own accounting and tax business which has grown into the accounting firm of Crockett, Myers & Associates, Inc. Dave prepares over 650 personal tax returns. When not preparing tax returns his focus is on new client acquisition and setup. In addition he continues to lead Crockett-Myers & Associates, Inc. serving as the company's President and CEO. He is very committed to the Accounting Industry and volunteers a lot of his time to the Maryland Society of Accountants, which is an organization that stresses the importance of continued education for accounting professionals. He climbed the ladder inside the organization and served in every officer position on the executive board. He continued his service to the organization as Chairman for the Maryland Society of Accountants Scholarship Foundation until 2005. In order to maintain his expertise Dave earns nearly seventy continuing professional education credits per year. Dave enjoys spending time with his grandchildren taking them to see the Baltimore Ravens, Orioles and NASCAR events. When his schedule allows you will also find him on the golf course.
